Had this bike for 13 years, from 2011 to 2024 and sold it back to the original owner who purchased in new back in 2000.
Harley Davidson 1200cc Twin engine, bumped to 100bhp and stuck in a sportsbike chassis.
Bags of grunt from low down with 3000rpm @ 30mph in 1st gear and 4000rpm @ 100mph in 5th.
Bike handled very well indeed and felt well planted on all road surfaces.
Just starting the engine had you grinning, such is the roar from these bikes.
Bike had the PM Alloy wheels, a V&H exhaust and Forcewinder Air filter kit fitted.
Engine quickly settles to a steady 'thump' as it ticked over with the bars and indicators shaking and the bike vibrates like it's about to take off, but once on the bike and riding there's was remarkably little vibration and it ran very smoothly.
The low revving engine can potter around 2000-3000 RPM and still be doing national speed limits, but change down and open it up and the noise of the bike is like something of a yesteryear racetrack.
With around 100BHP it was never the fastest thing around, but it's a very small bike with a low seat height and low centre of gravity so handled fantastically.
Excepting the usual oil & filter changes, tyres and brake pads etc. cost very little to maintain
Overall a really great bike.
